Outrage aka Gail Elliott

I am the Service Operations Manager for the Contact Centre Technology department for Salmat.  Salmat runs outsourced contact centres and websites for clients.  My clients include many well known and popular Australian brands in the commercial and transport industries.  My team has around 20 people in it, in both Australia and the Philippines.  The team is responsible for keeping contact centres running for Salmat. This includes real time data and voice over the internet, as well as the operation of over 350 servers in 3 sites running over 3 countries (Australia, NZ and Philippines).
Personally, I have a BSc/BE(hons) from Melbourne University majoring in computer and power engineering, computer science and physics.  I love physics and maths, and I spend much of what little spare time I have reading about the newest discoveries in both fields.  The most exciting thing I have read about recently is the experiment showing that gravity waves really do exist.
For fun, I play LOTS of computer games, and I also play pen and paper games and board games with my friends.  I have been gaming with my same group of friends for many years. Once a week (or once every 2 weeks) we all gather at someone’s house and play games together.  It’s great!
I love sport and music.  I play bass guitar in a band and I once was one of the best shotputters in Australia, until my MS got the better of me.
I have Multiple Sclerosis just like Outrage, but not only that, I have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and Lupus Nephritis (aka Lupus) as well.  Both are autoimmune diseases, which means my white blood cells think that my normal body is like a virus or a bacteria and attack them.

And somewhere in among all that I have 2 kids, 2 dogs and a husband to keep me sane.
